Ecumenical Prayer for Victims of WWII in Kharkiv Lead by UAOC and RCC Bishops

In Kharkiv, at the Memorial of Victims of Totalitarianism on May 8, 2010, a Divine Service was held for the repose of the people killed during WWII.

KHARKIV – In Kharkiv, at the Memorial of Victims of Totalitarianism on May 8, 2010, a Divine Service was held for the repose of the people killed during WWII. The ecumenical prayer was led by Archbishop Ihor (Isichenko) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Autocephalous Church and Bishop Marian Buchek of Kharkiv and Zaporizhia of the Roman Catholic Church. 

According to the portal of the Diocese of Kharkiv and Zaporizhia of the Roman Catholic Church, the prayer was also attended by the Consul General of Poland in Kharkiv Grzegorz Soroczynski and the head of the Christian Democratic Union in Kharkiv, Yurii Potykun.
