Ecumenical Prayer Meeting Held in Lviv on City Day

On May 6, during the celebration of the Day of the City in Lviv, a joint prayer was held with the participation of representatives of all the churches of the city. The prayer was led by Patriarch Filaret.

On May 6, during the celebration of the Day of the City in Lviv, a joint prayer was held with the participation of representatives of all the churches of the city. The prayer was led by Patriarch Filaret.  

Prayers were also said by priests of the Armenian Church, Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith, Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate, Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, Roman Catholic Church, Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate, the press service of the Lviv City Council reported.

On the Day of the Patron Saint of Lviv, St. Yur (George), the Lviv residents had an opportunity to attend a liturgy in the Cathedral of St. Yur led by Archbishop Ihor (Vozniak) and Bishop Venedykt (Aleksiichuk), reported DailyLviv.
