The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine registered a new resolution (№ 8/1) of the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), which stipulates an increase in tariffs for city electric transport, religious organizations and children’s centers Artek (Crimea) and Moloda Hvardia (Odesa Oblast)

Тарифи_газ.jpgOn January 23 the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine registered a new resolution (№ 8/1) of the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), which stipulates an increase in tariffs for city electric transport, religious organizations and children’s centers Artek (Crimea) and Moloda Hvardia (Odesa Oblast).

The tariffs have been increased by 30% and now they equal 31.68 kopecks per kilowatt hours (with VAT). The decision of the committee comes into effect on February 1.

According to the press service of NERC, the ministry registered the resolution on January 17 under #64/18802.

The increase in the tariffs was explained by the fact that the commission previously passed resolution № 8 of January 13, by which it increased tariffs for the population using more than 150 kW hours of power (without electric stoves) per month and more than 250 kW hours (with electric stoves and/or electric heating) per month by 30% from January 1.

“Therefore, the tariff fixed for city electric transport, religious organizations and children’s centers Artek and Moloda Hvardia will be the same as for the population without electric stoves and which uses for power more than 150 kW hours - the highest of the fixed tariffs for various categories of the population,” reads the report.
