"There is no doubt that everything that Russia does on the territory of Ukraine is a planned, cruel and bloody terror, deliberate intimidation and extermination of the civilian population. Moreover, Russia is pursuing a large-scale state policy of terror, blackmailing and intimidating the Ukrainian people, other peoples of Europe, and the whole world.

Because of its aggression, the Russian state has not stopped committing serious war crimes and crimes against humanity for 8 years and almost six months. Therefore, this country has become the personification of violence, barbarism, and murder in the XXI century. The civilian population of Ukraine systematically becomes victims of kidnappings, torture, violence, rape, and forced resettlement. During these six months, Russia has used almost all types of weapons on our territory. It terrorizes our people daily and every night with rocket and bomb attacks, artillery and other attacks aimed at civilians. Our people are held hostage by this terrorist state, but they courageously resist it, and therefore, with God's help, they will overcome it.

I ask the Lord, His Most Pure Mother and all the Saints for help for the Ukrainian people, protection and defense. I pray for the peace of the souls of the innocent victims. I call on all people of Good Will to join this prayer," Metropolitan Epifaniy wrote in his post on Facebook.
