Forum of Ukrainians to be held in Kazakhstan

On October 13-14, the Forum of Migrants will be held in the city of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the deportation of Ukrainians to Kazakhstan.

On October 13-14, the Forum of Migrants will be held in the city of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the deportation of Ukrainians to Kazakhstan.

This is reported by the press service of the Pastoral Migration Departmen of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC).

"The forum is intended to consolidate the public life of Ukrainians in the countries of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia and to promote the life of the church and public organizations," the statement said.

A two-day event will feature the presentation of books, documents and memoirs on the deportation of Ukrainians to Kazakhstan, the opening of an exhibition dedicated to deportation and a concert-requiem.

The event is supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
