Four Thousand Attend Ecumenical Prayer for Fair Elections in Lviv

Last Sunday, in front of the Monument to Taras Shevchenko in Lviv, an ecumenical prayer “For Fair Elections” was conducted. Churches of various denominations of Lviv participated in the event. The Lviv City Council informed all the electoral headquarters of the political parties of parliamentary candidates about it. Over 4,000 people attended the joint prayer, the press service of the Lviv City Council reported.

“In Lviv, joint prayers are conducted on the Day of the City, on the feast of epiphany, on Independence Day. This year’s elections are extremely important for the future of Ukraine,” commented Deputy Mayor on Humanitarian Matters Vasyl Kosiv.
