Greek Catholic Chaplains Bless Soldiers Before Training in Crimea

On September 12 at the state military training ground Chauda near the Crimean town of Feodosia, a celebratory meeting was held dedicated to the third stage of the Adequate Response 2011 tactical training with combat firing program.

On September 12 at the state military training ground Chauda near the Crimean town of Feodosia, a celebratory meeting was held dedicated to the third stage of the Adequate Response 2011 tactical training with combat firing program, the Information Department of UGCC reported.

The military chaplain of the Odesa-Crimean Exarchate of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Fr. Mykola Kvych, and the military chaplain of Military Unit A-4519, the priest of the Parish of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin of UGCC in Eupatoria, Protopriest Bohdan Kostetskyi, were invited to give their blessings to the military.

The Greek Catholic chaplains were accompanied by the parish priest of the Church of St. Nicholas of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate, Fr. Bohdan Kostenko, who also blessed the soldiers.
