According to the ACC news agency, the pilgrims will visit the Sadhir Synagogue in Chernivtsi and the location of the old synagogue in the town of Vyzhnytsia. Issues related to the arrival and stay on the territory of Chernivtsi region of the group of Hasidim pilgrims of April 12-14 were discussed at a meeting with Ivan Muntian, head of the Chernivtsi Regional Council.
According to the regional council press-service, the meeting discussed the state of the tourist infrastructure of Vyzhnytsya district, reviewed the preliminary plan of the delegation's stay on the territory of the region.
As reported, at the end of 2016, a renovated famous Sadigorsk Synagogue - a residence of a world-famous local tzaddik in the world opened in Chernivtsi. The history of this building is directly related to the history of the dynasty of the tzaddiks from the Friedman family. Today, the Friedmann dynasty has nearly 400 families residing in the United States, Belgium, the United Kingdom and, of course, Israel.
