Head of the UGCC Sviatoslav (Shevchuk) on July 6 started his official pastoral visit to Spain. He is accompanied by sishop Dionysius (Liakhovich), Apostolic Visitor for the Ukrainian in Italy and Spain, the Information Department of the UGCC informs.

On the feast of the Nativity of John the Baptist, in the evening, the hierarch headed the Divine Liturgy in the church of St. Paul the Apostle for the Ukrainian community in Alicante. July 8th, Patriarch celebrated the Divine Liturgy for the Ukrainian community in Torrevieja.
