Head of UGCC: Ukrainians Should Prepare for Visit of Roman Pope

Patriarch Sviatoslav said in a commentary to IA ZIK that Ukrainians should not only expect a visit of Pope Francis but prepare for it.

Patriarch Sviatoslav of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church said in a commentary to IA ZIK during his stay in Lutsk that Ukrainians should not only expect a visit of Pope Francis but prepare for it.

According to the Primate, the pope will definitely visit Ukraine.

“I think that we should not only expect it but prepare for it,” stated the patriarch.

“I think the date of the visit will be announced. This is to be done by the Most Holy Father. He already received an invitation from us,” he said.

“I will tell you as soon as I learn about it,” added the patriach.
