Icons on crates of ammunition are sold for the benefit of wounded ATO soldiers

Money from the sale of paintings will be transferred to the accountof the First Volunteer mobile hospital.

St Sophia National Sanctuary hosted an exhibition "Icons in war", all its exhibits will be sold for the benefit of soldiers wounded in the ATO, according to a LB.ua reporter.

These traditional Orthodox icons and paintings on biblical studies were painted on fragments of boxes out of ammunition, shells and mines, some of which were taken from the area of ​​administrative units, including the village of Pisky near Donetsk airport.

The collection includes works by contemporary artists Sophia Atlantova, Natalia Volobueva, Oleksandr Klimenko.

The authors kindly offered to sell them on online auction and redirect the money to support the first mobilevolunteer hospital named after Mykola Pyrogov.
