In Berdyansk, the invaders abducted the rector of the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, priest of the Redemptorist monk of the UGCC Ivan Levytsky.
A journalist from Zaporizhia told about it on Channel 24.
The Russians searched the church, after which they took the clergyman away.
Father Ivan constantly participated in pro-Ukrainian rallies. He also regularly went to the stele "I love Berdyansk" and prayed there.
"The invaders obviously knew what this person was praying for, so they took him away," the journalist noted.
