At the end of January 2023, the Russian military took the prayer house of the "Emmanuel" Church of Evangelical Christian Baptists in Luhansk.

This church is known for sheltering local residents during the shelling in 2014. For a long time, it helped with food, water and other necessary things. Then the church building was closed. Now, the military has taken the building for their own needs.
"Evangelical believers in the occupied territories continue to suffer from the occupiers, so they need our prayful support," the website says.
