The Russian occupation army has taken a house of prayer from the Transfiguration Church of evangelical Christians-Baptists in Lysychansk, Luhansk region.

This is reported by the website of the All-Ukrainian Council of Evangelical Christians-Baptists.

They took out everything that was of value to them and later settled several dozen Russian military personnel there.

The Church of the Transfiguration was founded in the late 90s of the last century. After 2014, she was distinguished by strong social work, issuing food packages, working with teenagers and evangelism.

"Today, those believers who remained in the occupation are deprived of their buildings and the opportunity to gather together.

Therefore, the brothers and sisters in Lysychansk need our prayerful support," the message reads.

As reported, at the end of January 2023, the Russian military seized the house of worship of the Emmanuel Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists in the city of Luhansk.
