In occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhia, the Russian military set up a military base and a flophouse right in the church "Word of Life", located in the city center. Due to the offensive of the Ukrainian armed forces on the Kherson front, they decided to traditionally cover themselves with civilians, using the tactics.
