On April 11, in the Moscow suburb of Noginsk, Russians demolished the only temple of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine dedicated to the Holy Trinity, which was under construction and served by Metropolitan Adrian.

This was reported by the OCU clergyman, Svyatoslav Skorokhod.

"On the fourth week of Great Lent, the last spiritual barricade of the Ukrainian spirit in Russia was destroyed. Earlier, Ukrainian library was closed in the swamps, and the only organization of the Ukrainian diaspora was liquidated," he wrote on his Facebook page.

According to the clergyman, in Ukraine, there have always been tens of thousands of temples of the Moscow Patriarchate, while in Russia, there was only one temple of the OCU. It was located in Noginsk of the Moscow region. In 2016, the Noginsk District Court ruled to demolish the temple, allegedly because it disturbed the peace of the local population.

"In 2013, I was ordained in this temple, and from 2008 to 2015, I was the press secretary of Metropolitan Adrian. Therefore, I want to say one thing: this Ukrainian sanctuary was about the history of faith and resistance to the Russian authorities and the Moscow Patriarchate even where it seemed completely impossible!" - emphasized the priest.
