Inter-Confessional Prayer for Victims of Holodomor Conducted in Kyiv

On the Day of Remembrance of Holodomor Victims on November 28, 2009, a joint inter-confessional prayer for the victims of the Holodomor genocidal famine was conducted in the St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv by the heads and authorized representatives of the churches and religious organizations of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s President Viktor Yushchenko, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, members of the government, deputies, and religious and public figures attended the event.
