Oleksandr Turchynov, ex-secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and coordinator of the All-Ukrainian Council, believes that the main success of the greatness of the United States of America lies in priorities based on the "eternal Gospel." Media outlet Rakurs reports about it.

It is thanks to higher priorities, not just corporate and political interests, that Ukraine can become as powerful as the United States, Turchinov said. He came to this conclusion after he visited the 68th National Prayer Breakfast of the United States, Turchynov's press service reports.

He also said that prayer breakfasts have become a tradition not only in the United States but also in Ukraine. This, according to the ex-Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine, is yet another indication that Ukraine is and will be a Christian state. At the same time, the purpose of such breakfasts is to "accomplish common prayer and define common spiritual values."

The press service added that on the eve of the prayer breakfast, Oleksandr Turchynov had had a series of meetings with US senators and congressmen, where the interlocutors discussed reforms in Ukraine and the issue of supporting the country in the fight against Russian aggression.
