Only 52 of the deputies of the Kyiv City Council voted for taking down of the so-called Tithe Monastery near the foundation of the Tithe Church. The number of votes is not sufficient to pass the resolution. The question was considered as part of the establishment of a monument of nature called Landscape Alley, the press service of Oleksandr Bryhinets, the deputy of the Kyiv Council who initiated the proposal to take down the unlawful buildings on the Tithe Mount, reported.

"To make sure the decision of the Kyiv Council is not a mere formality, I proposed to make addenda to it that is to envisage taking down the unlawfully built buildings on the territory of the Starokyivska Mount (Tithe Mount) which is included in the specified zone," said Mr. Bryhinets.
