07.07.2023, 09:43

"Last night in Lviv was the most terrifying since the beginning of the war. The consequences of the night attack by Russian terrorists have led to the death and injury of peaceful Lviv residents. I express sincere condolences to the families and envelop all of you in prayer."

These words were published on the website of the Lviv Archeparchy of the UGCC by Bishop Igor Vozniak, Archbishop and Metropolitan of Lviv.

"I thank our defenders, rescuers, and authorities for their prompt response and assistance. May the Lord heal the inflicted wound and protect every family that has suffered painful losses," said Bishop Igor.

The Metropolitan assured that the UGCC churches in Lviv and the region are filled with daily prayers for the Ukrainian people and victory over the enemy.
