Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All of Ukraine arrived in Khmelnytskyi on June 5 for the hierarchical visit.

This is reported by the OCU website.

The head of the OCU, in concelebration with Metropolitan Ioasaf of Ivano-Frankivsk and Halych, Bishop Pavlo of Khmelnytskyi and Kamianets-Podilsky, Bishop Mark of Dunayevets, Bishop Adrian of Shepetivka and numerous clergy, celebrated a requiem service for Metropolitan Anthony in the Cathedral of St. Andrew the First'Called.

Subsequently, a prayer service was held for the beginning of all good deeds, after which Metropolitan Epifaniy introduced the new administrator of the Diocese – His Grace Pavlo (Yurysty), who was recently appointed to the see of Khmelnytskyi by the Holy Synod.

"We must all work together sincerely and with faith on the development of the local Ukrainian Church. Therefore, dear Bishop Pavlo, congratulating you on your appointment to this throne, I would like to wish that the Lord will give you the strength for zealous service and present you with this rod as a symbol of episcopal authority. Lean on Him and be wise and gentle. Remember not only the authority of the bishop but also sacrifice and dedication. Axios!", said the Primate.

On June 6, Metropolitan Epifaniy will celebrate the consecration of the newly built Church of the Holy Spirit in Khmelnytskyi and lead the first Divine Liturgy there.
