On February 12, 2021, the head of the OCU, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and all Ukraine, met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine Anka Feldguzen.

This is reported by the OCU official website.

The Primate of the local Ukrainian Orthodox Church discussed with the distinguished guest the aggravation of the situation as a result of Russian military aggression in eastern Ukraine, the situation of OCU parishes in the occupied Crimea, the coronavirus pandemic, countering domestic violence and a number of other topical issues.

"Unfortunately, the aggressor country does not want this war to be ended through diplomatic means, but given the reliable shoulder of our partners, such as Germany, we will still achieve a just peace," the OCU Metropolitan said.
