Metropolitan Volodymyr Is In Good Spirits and Watches Developments in Church

Last Sunday, the Secretary of the Kyivan Metropolitanate (UOC-MP) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate, Protopriest Vitalii Kosovskyi visited the Head of UOC-MP, Metropolitan Volodymyr.

Last Sunday, the Secretary of the Kyivan Metropolitanate (UOC-MP) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate Protopriest Vitalii Kosovskyi visited the head of UOC-MP, Metropolitan Volodymyr, orthodox.org.ua reported.

During the conversation, the metropolitan thanked the protopriest for organizing the celebration of the Orthodox Pancake Week where the clergy, parishioners and Sunday school pupils gathered, and said that he would like such events to be held in future.

Fr. Vitalii told the metropolitan about the process of construction of the Cathedral of Annunciation in Kyiv and invited the metropolitan to consecrate 10 dome crosses after Easter.

After the meeting, the Secretary of the Kyivan Metropolitanate noted: “The condition of the metropolitan has improved considerably. His beatitude actively inquired about church matters, he is in good spirits and, as usual, jokes, showing his typical subtle sense of humour.”
