Metropolitan Volodymyr Meets US Ambassador John Tefft

KYIV – On February 5, 2010, Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the USA in Ukraine, John Tefft, met with the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP), Metropolitan Volodymyr, in his residence in the Kyiv Cave Monastery. The ambassador inquired about the life of the UOC-MP, its relations with other Orthodox and non-Orthodox denominations and the history of the Ukrainian state. During the meeting John Tefft expressed hope for productive cooperation between the UOC and the embassy, reports the web site of the UOC-MP.
