The Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports took into account repeated requests of Churches and religious organizations and set up a work team to study the question of recognition of the diplomas and degrees of higher spiritual educational institutions.

Order 1210 of 21 October, 2011 of the ministry in particular says that in view of the requests of the Public Council on Cooperation with Churches and Religious Organizations and representatives of individual religious denominations, a decision was made to establish a work team to study the question of recognition of the diplomas and degrees of higher spiritual educational institutions to  be headed by First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports, Yevhen Sulima.
