A completion of projects and sketches for the future pedestal will be held from May 10 to June 1. The main criteria will be the simplicity and clarity of the composition. Already in May, a glass octagonal chapel, which will be part of the ensemble, will be installed near the tomb.

According to Yuri Didkovskyi, the patron of the project, the monument should be simple and understandable to people. He was particularly impressed by revolution artist Yuriy Zhuravel’s conception, which portrays an angel with wings and forelock, who is on his knees with his head bowed, Channel 5 reports.
