Moscow Orthodox Sunday School To Be Built In Kyiv

The foundation of a future religious school has been laid on the territory of the Annunciation Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) in Kyiv’s Sviatoshyn neighborhood. This news was reported on 2 November 2002.

Designed as a three-story building, it is expected to be the biggest Sunday school in Kyiv. In addition to classrooms, the school is going to have special halls for receptions and baptisms. According to Archpriest Vitalii Kosovskyi of the UOC-MP, who is dean of the parishes in Kyiv, the building of the school will be finished in two years. Source: www.orthodox.org
