Muslim Women’s Conference Held in Crimea

On August 6, 2010, in Staryj Krym, Crimea, took place a Muslim women’s conference dedicated to the upcoming holy month for Muslims – Ramadan. The event was organized by the religious community Eski Kirim, (Old Crimea).

 

On August 6, 2010, in Staryj Krym, Crimea, took place a Muslim women’s conference dedicated to the upcoming holy month for Muslims – Ramadan. The event was organized by the religious community Eski Kirim, (Old Crimea). Two hundred people participated in the conference.

As informs the Muslims of Crimea Portal, during the event the participants discussed several reports, which not only covered the meaning and place of Ramadan in the life of Muslims, but also Islam as a whole. One topic from one of the reports was the assertion that “The answer to all human’s questions is found only in Islam.”

This year Ramadan will begin on August 10.
