A National Bible House is to be opened in Kyiv on June 22, 2011, to mark the 20th anniversary of existence of the Ukrainian Bible Society.

A National Bible House is to be opened in Kyiv on June 22, 2011, to mark the 20th anniversary of existence of the Ukrainian Bible Society.

“It is important and significant that during the period of its activity the society consideres interests of various categories of people not only in order for the Word of God to be available to each Ukrainian but also to always be an example of harmonious combination and cooperation of all the Christian religious trends as the spread of the Bible and popularization of the Christian morality in the society remains a wonderful example of interdenominational relations,” stressed the president of the Ukrainian Bible Society, Hryhorii Komendant, in a conversation with the head of the State Committee of Ukraine on Nationalities and Religions, Yurii Bohutskyi.
