According to the Minister, on average, a police officer witnesses about 200 critical situations during their career.

"Law enforcement officers also need help and support, so the chaplaincy activities will be expanded including the police," Avakov said.

"We have introduced regular positions of military priests in battalions. In the case when a guardsman performs combat missions in the field, we have developed and manufactured a mobile spiritual support complex," he said.

The service of military chaplains operates in the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service.
