December 30th, in the Cathedral of Strasbourg, Brother Alois announced that the next European meeting will take place from 29 December 2014 to 2 January 2015. "It will bring us together in a city that is right in the center of Europe. It will be in the city of Prague."

The Archbishop of Prague, Cardinal Duka, and President Fajfr of the Czech Council of churches came specially to Strasbourg for the occasion, Taize official web-page informs.

"It is with joy that I invite you to the international meeting of young Christians prepared by the Taizé Community in the Czech Republic, in Prague, a city which is situated in the middle of Europe and which, from the beginning of our history, has been a spiritual and cultural centre not just of our country but of all Central Europe.

You will be welcomed by the monumental panorama of the Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral and the other Christian churches which, by their existence, proclaim the Gospel. Your brothers and sisters of the Christian churches are looking forward to welcoming you, so that you could experience the end of the year 2014 and the beginning of the year 2015 in Prague, the Mother of Cities", - saidCardinal Duka.
