Oligarch, non-factional MP Vadym Novynskyi may receive an additional UAH 20 billion a year to promote the interests of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine.
This was announced on Facebook by Archbishop Yevstratiy (Zorya), according to Censor.net.
"Iron ore is one of the main sources of profit for the structure controlled by Mr. Novynsky. The increase in the price of ore on world markets (in mid - October of this year it was more than.120 per ton) is a source of hundreds of millions of dollars in profits that Mr. Novynsky received through dividends," the report says.
According to him, Novinsky's structure pays "ridiculous money" for ore mining - the rent is now about $3 per ton, regardless of the price at which the ore will then be sold.
"That is, in fact, the structure of Mr. Novinsky "buys" ore from the people of Ukraine, who are the owner of mineral resources, for 3 3, and sells, for example, to China - for more than $120. By the way, as far as I know, the rent for ore is the only one that has such a scheme, all the others are determined from the sale price of the resource, and not from the cost of production (as in the case of ore)," the archbishop said.
He recalled that the Parliament "should consider the issue of addressing this anomaly."
"When the people of Ukraine give resources for pennies to those who then earn billions on them (according to rough estimates, the "issue price", depending on fluctuations in the price of ore, is up to 3 3 billion a year). I wonder if they can? Will they vote?
hy did I decide to write about this? Because I recently read about how, according to investigators, Mr. Novinsky was actively "worried" about changes to the government bill. As a result, due to certain changes, taxes worth almost UAH 20 billion may "evaporate" from the project," the archbishop added.
The OCU hierarch noted that Novynsky (as protodeacon of the Russian Church) "closely deals" with church processes.
"Hundreds of court cases against communities that decided to withdraw from the MP. Media conglomerate of official media outlets of the Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine and propaganda appendices to them. Trips to those churches that have not yet recognized the Tomos of autocephaly, with "strong arguments" not to do so in the future with 20 billion a year actually donated by the people of Ukraine - is it difficult to be so active and generous to promote the interests of the Russian Orthodox Church?" he summed up.
