Primate of the OCU meets with Ukrainian ambassador to the United States

On January 4, 2022, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and all Ukraine met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States of America Oksana Markarova at his residence – Metropolitan House.

This is reported by the press service of the Kyiv Metropolia of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (OCU).

"The Primate of the local Ukrainian Orthodox Church discussed with the distinguished guest the current religious and socio-political situation in Ukraine and the world, the development of international relations to strengthen Ukraine's position against the background of Russian aggression, as well as the activities carried out in this area by the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, as one of the recognized autocephalous Churches of the world," the OCU said in a statement.
