On Sunday, May 4, at 2:00 p.m. on Rynok Square, as part of the celebration of City Day, a joint prayer with representatives of the clergy of the Christian denominations of Lviv will be held.

This year, the prayer will be led by the clergy of the Roman Catholic Church and Archbishop Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki. According to the press service of the Lviv City Council, before prayer, at 1:40 p.m. the choir of the Sts. Peter and Paul Church (UGCC) will perform sacred music.

“A joint prayer for the city and its residents, which takes place every year during the city day celebrations, has become a good tradition. This year it is particularly important because there will be an honest request for the welfare and happiness of our city and the unity of Ukraine. Therefore, we invite all to pray,” said the head of the city council’s Internal Policy Andriy Shevtsiv.
