One more parish of UOC (MP) moved to Kyiv Patriarchate

Sumy diocesan administration of the UOC-KP satisfied the request of the community to accept them to the UOC-KP together with mitered archpriest Vasyl.

On December 30, 2015, the congregation of St. Nicholas Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) in Velyka Pysarivka village appealed to the diocesan administration of the UOC - Kyivan Patriarchate in Sumy asking to accept them into the fold of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

The day before, the parishioners held a meeting in the temple, where they decided on their affiliation, noting that the process of transition was “correct and final,” according to Depo.Sumy.
