Over 50 criminal proceedings have been initiated against the clergy of the Moscow Patriarchate, and 19 have been declared suspicious.

This was stated by the head of the special service Vasyl Malyuk in an interview with one of the TV channels, commenting on the situation around the clergymen of the Moscow Patriarchate, UNN reports.

"We have more than 50 criminal proceedings to date, 19 suspicions, 5 court sentences. That is, a person who is a violator of the law, in his actions, there is evidence of a corresponding crime. We document it and bring it to justice. We in no way perceive the existence of a spiritual rank. Without mitigating the circumstances, without aggravating them," the kid said.

He noted that this environment is favorable for the functioning of the enemy residency.

"When the tentacles penetrate all directions in Ukraine, this is one of the most relevant directions. Our task is to clean up this environment as quickly and efficiently as possible," he said.

The SBU has been conducting searches in the dioceses of the UOC-MP in Ukraine since the end of November. One of the first inspections took place in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
