In Belarus, Pastor Oleksandr Zaretsky from Novolukoml was sentenced to administrative arrest for 15 days under Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

This was reported by the"Christians Against War" Telegram channel.

The pastor was detained on February 22. The reason for the arrest was that prayers for the cessation of the war in Ukraine were voiced during services in his congregation. This caused outrage among local ideologues. He was also accused of non-participation in pro-government events.

In 2023, the pastor served 30 days for likes and comments on publications by independent media.
