Patriarch Bartholomew receives the newly appointed consul of Ukraine in Istanbul

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew received the newly appointed consul of Ukraine in Istanbul Roman Nedilsky and his family at his residence.

Roman Nedilsky wrote about this on his Facebook page and posted touching photos from the audience, Religiyna Pravda reports.

According to the consul, during the audience with the patriarch, he conveyed greetings and warm wishes from President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

“I thanked His Holiness for supporting Ukraine and loving Ukrainians, which we feel with all our hearts. My family and I are happy to receive the patriarch's blessing at the beginning of our work in Istanbul.

Many summers to you, your All-Holiness!", said Nedilsky.
