Earlier, the Head of the Antiochian Patriarchate appealed to Bartholomew with a request to discuss the “Ukrainian question” at the Pan-Orthodox level. The same request was issued by other Autocephalous Churches, which are within Moscow’s sphere of influence – Polish and Czech Churches. It is noteworthy that the Church of Cyprus and Romanian Church mentioned the possibility of the Pan-Orthodox discussion of this issue, but did not insist on this format. The Cypriots called for giving more time to the Ukrainian Orthodox community, while the Romanians outlined a number of conditions that affect the interests of their Church.
