The head of the Kyiv Patriarchate expressed gratitude for the high recognition of his patriotic activity and blessed Andriy Gorchakov to create the South-Ukrainian Christian press center and construct a men’s monastery in the Mykolaiv region

On September 22, 2017, the representative of the Ukrainian Peace Council, philanthropist Andriy Gorchakov, chairman of the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine M.I. Buryanova and Director of the Center for the Study of the National Academy of Sciences, O. M. Titov, met with Patriarch Filaret of Kyiv and All Russia-Ukraine to confer on him the highest peacekeeping award of the Ukrainian peace mission “Order of Peace” 1st degree in recognition of his outstanding humanistic activities.
