Patriarch Filaret visited the main center of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA

On November 7, Patriarch Filaret accompanied by archpriest Oleksandr Trofumliyk, a member of the Supreme Church Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kyiv Patriarchate, arrived in South Bound Brook.

In the spiritual center of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, the patriarch’s delegation met with the Primate of the Orthodox Church in the USA (Ecumenical Patriarchate), Metropolitan Anthony of Hierapolis and the ruling bishop of Western Diocese, Archbishop Daniel of Pamphilon.

 

In a warm friendly conversation, the first hierarchs discussed the recognition of the Ecumenical Patriarchate autocephalous Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kyiv Patriarchate.
