Patriarch Kirill of Moscow is going to visit Kyiv on 28 July to participate in the celebration of the Day of Baptism of Rus.

He will conduct in Kyiv public hearings on “the civilization way of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and the role of the Orthodox Church in making progress along that way,” reported ТSN.

According to a member of the management Board of the international public organization “Day of Baptism of Rus,” Yurii Molchanov, on 28 July, in Kyiv, international public hearings are to be conducted under the chairmanship of Patriarch Kirill.

In addition, the organizers plan to hold concerts with the participation of musicians, public figures and scholars in Kyiv, Moscow, Minsk.
