Philadelphia to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of Holodomor

The Ukrainian-American community in Philadelphia will mark the 80th Anniversary of the Famine-Genocide in Ukraine on Sunday, November 17.  From 1:00-2:00 PM, a rally with famine dramatization will be held at the Liberty Bell, People’s Square, 5th & Market Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19106.  A Solemn Commemoration of the “Holodomor” and Remembrance Service for the 8-10 million innocent victims of Moscow’s terror will follow at 3:00 PM at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 830 N. Franklin Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
