Poles will restore Lviv Cathedral

In particular, it is referred to the Latin Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary costing about UAH 1.47 million; the Armenian Cathedral of the Assumption (the cost of this year's restoration work will be UAH 913,000).

Polish Ministry of Culture has allocated funds for the restoration of joint cultural monuments in Lviv. This was reported by Varianty.


In the framework of the valorization of the common cultural heritage of Poland and Ukraine in Lviv, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland will finance restoration works in the churches of Lviv.


In particular, it is referred to the Latin Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary costing about UAH 1.47 million; the Armenian Cathedral of the Assumption (the cost of this year's restoration work will be UAH 913,000).


The Poles will also restore at their cost the Church of Saints Peter and Paul (former Church of Jesuits) - the cost of this year's phase of the restoration work will be UAH 2.8 million, and the Church of St. Anthony of Padua (UAH 945,000).
