On April 2, it was made public in the Vatican that Pope Benedict XVI appointed General Vicar for the Vatican City Cardinal Angelo Comastri his special legate to participate in the closing services of the National Eucharistic Congress in Ukraine which is to be held on June 3 in Lviv on the occasion of the 600th anniversary of the establishment of the metropolitanate of the Latin Rite in Lviv, reported Radio Vatican.
