On March 30, Pope Francis met at the Vatican with refugee children from Ukraine who found shelter in Italy.

This is reported by Vatican News.

Welcoming the children present in the general audience, Pope Francis urged them not to stop praying for an end to the war in Ukraine.

"I send special sincere congratulations to the Ukrainian children... who are guests of the Aiutiamoli a vivere Foundation, the Puer Association and the Embassy of Ukraine to the Holy See. Welcoming these children, let us reflect on the ugliness of war and offer prayers for stopping the wild cruelty of war," the pontiff said.
