The Head of State noted in his greeting the significant impact of the Kyiv Theological Academy on the processes of building the Ukrainian statehood.
“Kyiv Theological Schoolsbecame the hotbed of the original Kyiv Orthodox tradition, a solid foundation of Ukrainian education, science and culture,” goes the greeting address of the President of Ukraine. “Each generation of alumniprovided examples of their sacrificial service for the welfare of Ukrainian people.”
“Kyiv Theological Schools became a symbol of spiritual revival of our country, overcoming the injustices inflicted on the Church and the Ukrainian people in the past,” Poroshenko believes.
The greeting of the head of state was read out by Advisor to the President of Ukraine YuriyBohutskyy during a ceremonial act on the occasion of the anniversary of KTA.
