“Let me greet you from my heart on occasion of the Feast of baptism of the Lord and Epiphany. The Biblical wonder of consecrating water draws one’s attention to the healing power of water and calls one to take care of the environment given to us by God.
“Let the old event of the Gospel remind us of the favourable effect of the Sacrament of Baptism on human spirituality and let the consecrated water make clean our thoughts, heal the sick and give us all health,” reads the greeting address posted by the presidential press service.
