President Poroshenko and Ukrainian community to pray for Ukraine iIn Rome

On November 19 at 11:00, in the territory of St Sofia Cathedral in Rome (via di Boccea, 478) a joint prayer for Ukraine will be held with the participation of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, clergymen and the Ukrainian community in Italy.

On November 19 at 11:00, in the territory of St Sofia Cathedral in Rome (via di Boccea, 478) a joint prayer for Ukraine will be held with the participation of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, clergymen and the Ukrainian community in Italy. The event schedule includes communication and laying flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko. The prayer is open to all comers.

The event will be held on the occasion of the official visit of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to the Italian Republic and the Vatican City, reports the UGCC press service In Italy.

As RISU reported, the Ukrainian President will meet with the leaders of Italy, in particular, with President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy Matteo Renzi.

During the visit of Ukrainian President to the Vatican he will have an audience with the Pope Francis and a meeting with Secretary of State of the Holy See Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
