President Poroshenko: Our task is to hoist again Ukrainian flag over Donetsk, Luhansk, Simferopol and Sevastopol

The President recalled of the brave deed by the Hero of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak, which touched the hearts of millions of Ukrainians. He performed an extremely worthy deed – he sacrificed his life protecting the flag of Ukraine in his native Horlivka.

President Petro Poroshenko took part in the solemn ceremony of raising the National Flag of Ukraine at Sofiyivska Square. The President was raising the National Flag of Ukraine along with Mariya - the daughter of the Hero of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak

The event participants observed a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of the Hero of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak and all the deceased for independence of Ukraine.
